Good Vibes Enterprises Inc. ("Good Vibes", "we", "us") runs gvsociety.com and GV Society, including the Founder and Entrepreneur Dinner Series and Golden Hour. We are based in Ontario, Canada, and we handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Information you give us through our forms or by email:
Information created if you become a member: your membership status, the dates you joined and cancelled, and your payment history. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, who processes your card details directly. We do not see or store your full card number.
Information created when you take part: photos and video taken at our events.
Technical information: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to run and secure the site. The site serves its own fonts and images rather than loading them from third-party networks, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
We collect, use and share your information with your consent, which you give when you submit a form, join as a member or take part in an event. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, subject to legal or contractual limits. Withdrawing may mean we can no longer consider your application, continue your membership or include you in an event.
Our events are photographed and filmed. If you consented to appearing in that media, we may use it on our website, social media and other promotional materials. If you later withdraw consent, we will stop using media featuring you in new materials. We cannot always recall media that has already been published or shared by others.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored there may be accessed by authorities of that country under its laws.
We keep application and seat request information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, generally up to two years after your last contact with us. Membership and payment records are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires, generally six years after the end of the tax year they relate to. Media may be kept and used for as long as your consent allows.
We limit access to the people on our team who need it and use the security tools provided by our service providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information (such as banking or ID details) through our forms.
GV Society events, applications and memberships are for people 19 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
We will update this policy when our events, membership or services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
