These terms apply to gvsociety.com and to GV Society, including the Founder and Entrepreneur Dinner Series and Golden Hour, all operated by Good Vibes Enterprises Inc. ("Good Vibes", "we", "us"), a company based in Ontario, Canada. By using the site, submitting a form, joining as a member or attending an event, you agree to them.
You must be 19 or older to apply, to hold a membership and to attend an event. Venues may ask for ID.
Submitting an application does not guarantee an invitation. We select members and guests at our discretion and confirm every invitation personally. Invitations and the checkout links we send with them are personal to you and may not be transferred or shared.
Seating is limited, and dates, venues and menus may change.
The Founder and Entrepreneur Dinner Series is a monthly membership. The founding rate is $49 CAD per month, plus applicable taxes, charged to your payment method when you join and on the same day each month after that until you cancel. Payments are handled by our payment provider.
Membership entitles you to a seat at that month's dinner, subject to availability and to reserving your place once we announce the date. A seat you do not take in a given month does not carry over and is not refundable.
Membership does not include food or drink. Members pay for their own meals at each dinner, either at the venue or as we tell you before the event. This is separate from Golden Hour, described below, where invited guests dine free.
We may change the price, with at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies to one of your renewals. Your founding rate continues for as long as your membership stays active without a break.
You can cancel at any time, and your cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part months, and a month that has already started is not refunded, except where Ontario consumer protection law requires it.
We may suspend or end a membership for non-payment, for conduct covered below, or if the room is no longer the right fit. If we end your membership for any reason other than your conduct, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
Golden Hour seats are by invitation and are separate from membership. Where we say a seat is complimentary, that covers the shared set menu served at that event and nothing else; drinks and anything ordered off the set menu are your own. A guest you bring must also be approved by us.
A small number of guest seats at each Golden Hour dinner are offered to members and business professionals. Where such a seat is paid, the price, payment method and any refund or transfer terms will be given to you before you pay and form part of these terms.
Treat guests, staff and venues with respect. We and the venue may refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, harassing or disruptive, without refund and without ending your payment obligations for the current month. You attend at your own risk and are responsible for your own belongings, transportation and alcohol consumption.
Events are photographed and filmed. Where you have consented on our forms, you allow us to use media featuring you, including for promotional use, without payment unless agreed otherwise in writing. Our Privacy Policy explains how you can withdraw that consent for future use.
The Good Vibes and GV Society names, logos, photos, video and site content belong to us or our licensors. You may share links to our pages, but you may not copy or use our content commercially without our written permission.
Our site links to other websites and shows restaurant logos for information only. We are not responsible for other sites, and showing a logo does not mean that business endorses us or that an event will be held there.
The site and its content are provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Good Vibes is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from events, venues or third parties outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Ontario, sitting in Toronto.
We may update these terms as our events and membership evolve. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site or your membership means you accept it.
